Forest Beetle

Out for another attempt at finding mushrooms. We were only partially succesful - a very meagre basket bulked out with a last minute find of two parasol mushrooms. The find of the day went to our friend FG who came up trumps with a nice little triumvirate of Steinpilze. We were all suitably jealous.

As ever, there were lots of beetles about and this one obliged with a lovely pose on a fallen tree. Probably better embiggened.
