Ollie and Ava's Christening, and a lovely Sunday!

good sleep in until 7am ish, thats a good sunday morning lie in for me! up for a cuppa, and sorting a playlist out for claires christening. sausage sarnie for breakfast, and then i'm off, showered and ready to do shopping, wash car before the christening.

got a text off mum to say a horse called 'Eric the Grey' is running in the 2.30pm at musselburgh, and will i put a bet on for her. i always like a flutter, even more so when it's carrying a name like that!

bet's on, 25-1, £5 EW.

off to the christening and it took place at the lovely church in Linby. afterward we had a lovely tea at the cricket club. the weather held off, and some of the children ventured outside to play footy, or whack the life out of the pinata! love this pic of lorenzo giving it a good whack!

forest match was in the club, but to be honest, after the goal, everyone seemed to lose interest!

home and all set for a lazy end to a sunday. pj's on, heating on, and sunday papers to read.

another lovely weekend, and Monday arrives all too soon! i don't think my winnings from Eric the Grey's 3rd place, is enough to help me retire!
