Woke up in the night to go to the toilet and looked up. There were no clouds and the Galloway forest is known to be the dark sky forest and I could see why. Decided to make the effort and do a Dyson and take some photos in the middle of the night. Kilda and J were fast asleep while I took a couple of experimental shot. Defiantly going to come back and take some more. Got up and headed out for a days walking. Decided to go over to Clatteringshaws loch for a walk up into the hills. Went a bit wrong on the way up and missed a turning so ended up at the top of Benniguinea. Headed back down and found the turn. Had lunch back at the visitors centre before heading over to the Otter pools. Kilda had a great time there as J through her ball into the river while I tried to take some photos. Stopped off to see some red deer, which Kilda didn’t like in the red deer drive. Went down to the local pub for cheese and biscuits after having sausages in the van.
