Garden hands

We spent the afternoon in the garden as we had to wait for the boiler man to come.  Lunch time washing up, the water was cold and the boiler started making a very strange noise... turns out I was only the pressure that had gone and was easily remedied, I felt bad that I hadn't known how to fix it.  All sorted - know exactly what to do now.  

So, we were housebound for the afternoon, we cleaned out the shed, tidied it up, swept it out and then planted a whole lot of bulbs.  The husband hasn't noticed that the grass has been totally messed up - clearly there's a benefit to it getting dark in the evenings..... The boys had a great time messing around in the mud, helping to plant things and sometimes sweeping out the shed in the right direction.  We all got filthy and it was straight into the bath for two boys when we were done.
