Things are quietening down in the garden now. The sunflower is developing seeds nicely, with the intention of letting the birds benefit from it, weather conditions permitting. The runners are being left to go to seed and the sweet peas are well and truly over. A few things hang on to the occasional warmth of the sun however. This patio rose (Snowcap) is putting on a show, before the cooler nights get to it... or is it the vanilla ice cream in the fridge..?
