On the way home

We are never the first in line at the ferry. Except for today. We did the work we needed to do at the island so all will be ready for winter and although it's still gorgeous weather making us want to linger, we've got stuff to do in Seattle! This is the ramp to the Queen of Nanaimo, leaving Galiano island, for Vancouver BC. Taken with the iPad . And "messed with" a bit to try to make it more dramatic :-). ( The sky was very blue but not quite that blue)

I'm afraid to try to put camera photos in the computer as the external drive that I keep my whole library on decided not to work, yesterday. I do have backup (which I don't entirely trust) but it's making me nervous (not quite panic yet). So it's off to the Apple store tomorrow!
