Up at 6am to get through to Glasgow airport to pick up SWBO's brother who is coming to visit his mother.
The flight was due at 7.30 .......... or it was last night. At 6.30 SWMBO looked up the flight to see about delays.
Delays my backside ........ it was now due in at 7.00!
Thanks to  some progressive driving and a slow baggage carousel we made it.
It is 4 years since we saw him last and it was good to catch up and gt an insight into the state of the American government (he and his wife are both diplomats in the American State Department).

After lunch we nipped round to visit one of SWMBO's sisters as she is going into hospital tomorrow for an urgent hip replacement - withon 6 months she has gone from nothing to no blood supply to the bone which is dying and crumbling.

Picked up the monsters from school - took The Cygnet to his French lesson and then collected hm.

SWMBO headed off to watch Squirrel giving her 'Promise' at Rainbows (younger version of the Brownies).
