this way to south uist

from today I'm going to have very little chance to blip or comment as we are off for a week on South Uist and internet access is sporadic to say the least..it will be a chance to catch up on reading, knitting, talking and for long walks on deserted beaches.

This morning we left home in Beautiful October sunshine and drove to Mallaig, chasing rainbows up Loch Lomond and through Glencoe. Here are D, Sarah and Jess at the ferry terminal. 

9.30 at night and we arrived at The Stone House on Loch Eynort. Dark and peaceful.

Normal service will be resumed in a week or so.
