A still life

Today was the funeral and thanksgiving service for Brian, a family friend. I grew up with his daughters in our church youth group and he's been a part of mum and dad's church for as long as I remember.

It was a beautiful service and the family did such a fantastic job of paying tribute to their beloved Brian. And we learned a thing or two about him as well!

Although it wasn't the happiest of occasions, it was wonderful to catch up with old friends.
