Friday night omelette
A regular Friday for the first time in weeks, since August in fact, since before Susan had that hip injury. We went to the gym together for the first time in weeks. It seemed to go well, we’ll see in the morning.
After lunch Doreen went home to stay for the first night after the break in. Once she was settled we spent a happy hour or so on the internet to buy new tyres for Susan’s car, look at the cottage for a proposed trip with our walking group next June (we like it) and look up dates of performances of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain (Barbican) m and Transatlantic Sessions (Southbank) early next year. Both gigs are almost sold out, we’ll have to book quickly.
We needed a walk after the all trials of the afternoon which entailed a visit to the allotment for beetroot and carrots.
A slow blip day which is why you’re looking at the traditional Friday supper, omelette and salad. With the aforementioned beetroot. Chocolate, of course, followed later.
