Sun on the roof

The sun broke through in the afternoon and lit up the shed roof. I like the way the sun highlights the irregularities in the old tiles, more than a century old. They have an attractive coating of lichen.
The pots outside were dry, with plants beginning to wilt, so I filled the watering can a few times and gave them a sprinkle. It seemed over the top to get the hose out.
