Best laid plans

I had my blip planned in my mind for today, and then forgot to take my camera! The occasion was a big WI meeting with WIs from all over Surrey. So I resorted to capturing my three farmyard birds when I got home.The white duck has sported a Christmas necklace for a few years now.
The big meeting was very good with excellent speakers. It ia always a sociable event and I enjoy meeting friends from all over Surrey.
When we came out of the meeting we were struck by the eerie oppressive yellow light. It felt quite threatening. I have heard since that was caused by the hurricane Ophelia drawing up Sahara dust and smoke from fires in Spain!
