Geranium

Geraniums should be basking in warm Mediterranean sun, not struggling on a cold wet day in England. But this white geranium seems to be doing well with several large heads of flowers. It is in a sheltered position and if our winter is not too hard it may well survive for a repeat performance next year.
It was wet yesterday as well as we went for lunch at the golf club. It was another birthday lunch, and apart from N and me, everybody on our table was over ninety! It was a quiet time for us but it was a good birthday event for everyone else! It was the usual carvery and I had beef cut from a 5.5 kilo joint which had been cooking for 24 hours. It was so soft and tender, delicious.
