Chickens CAN Fly!

Chicken Lady (and her brother) abseiled off the bridge this morning.
It's a long way down (this is about 2/3rds of the height).
There is no way I would do it ..... especially with the 'breeze' that was blowing.
When we arrived it was nice and sunny  but the sky darkened before Chicken Lady got her chance to fly.
Between her and her brother they raised over £1100 for SCAA - an excellent achievemnet. I hope the other dozen or so who were also doing it for SCAA did as well.

We didn't have any bubbly to celebrate but a group of us went into the cafe/pottery under the bride and had tea and cake and a great laugh instead.

While we were in there the light started to get interesting  so somebody must have been getting wet judging by the rainbow.
The new bridge was also catching some nice shafts so I have done a couple of black & white conversions to show it off.

The rest of the day ...... a bit of gardening and a bit of time at the lathe.
