Pompeii

Had a long day exploring at Pompeii. The train up from Vico Equense was absolutely packed. We were squashed in like sardines, which resulted in plenty of moaning from the skids. Apparently you need 7 hours to see the whole site so we only saw a fraction of it. Very poignant seeing the 2,000 year old petrified victims. It must have been absolutely terrifying. Toby and Eva did well but were getting tetchy towards the end so even though there was loads more to see we called it a day. Extra pictures of the huge amphitheatre and poor petrified souls :'0(
