Purple pattern

Last year I bought a small pack of hand dyed embroidery threads in my favourite colours, purples, greens and blues. I couldn't resist them, even though I have boxes of threads of every hue and thickness I should ever need. Now I have used them for this cross stitch pattern which I have made up into a little pincushion. This project used so little of the pack that I shall have to think if something else to do with the rest. Or maybe they will just go into one of the boxes with all my other threads!
