Tromso

I love this city.

I remember walking across the bridge to the Arctic Cathedral in a blizzard. Today, I just pottered around with my camera. People are so friendly and helpful.

Autumn, with fallen leaves and snow is so lovely. But I would find the short days in the winter a struggle.

Last night we saw the Northern Lights from the ship. I stayed up for ages learning from the crazy light chasers who helped me take my own photo. It’s not very good but it’s mine :-). I hope I’ll get better. I’ve certainly learned a lot.

And there’s always a chance of a strong and spectacular display... right now it’s not raining, but it’s still very overcast.
