Chim chiminey
I just love these tall chimneys.
This is Mannington Hall.
A fabulous moated house built in the 15th century.
It was purchased by the1st Lord Walpole in the mid eighteenth century.
The house isn't open to the public, and the gardens are only open in Summer, but there are some lovely walks round the parkland.
We managed today's walk in sunshine, although there was a shower while we were in the bird hide.
It has been a day of sunshine and showers.
The showers we have managed to avoid however.
Visited lots of our old haunts.
Blakeney, Morston, Cley, and Salthouse, where we were nearly blown away while walking along the shingle bank.
The waves were crashing onto the beach.
What a fabulous sight. (See extra of the little turnstones ). They didn't mind the wind and waves.
Back " home" now and enjoying tea and cakes.
Tonight we are off to the local pub, the Dun Cow.
I think it may be a bracing walk!
Many thanks for all your comments, starsand hearts for yesterday.
Please excuse lack of comments while we are on holiday.
I will try and sprinkle stars and hearts if time.
