Loughrigg Fell.

What a beautiful autumnal day in the Lake District, bright blue skies and glorious sunshine. You really couldn't have asked for any more for a day in the great outdoors. 

Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed a stunning walk starting in Ambleside up to the top of Loughrigg Fell. We were treated to view after stunning view of Lake Windermere as we looked back over our shoulders. As we continued we looked down to a view of Grasmere before slowly winding down to the shores of Rydal Water. We walked back along a lovely footpath into Ambleside. 

Absolutely wonderful. Faultless weather. Faultless walk. Faultless views. Faultless company. Perfect weekend getaway.
