Rooftops o Hoswick

A breezy morning, but sunny spells and dry.  As the afternoon and evening progressed, so did the wind and rain.  Gales are blowing tonight!  If this was down in the South of England, they would have called the gales a name.

It's been another day in the museum office, and more scanning of old slides to keep me busy.  It was quiet down in the museum today.  It's been a fairly lazy evening bybthe fire.  Sammy has had his feet up all night, but we finally headed out and got soaked!  Off to work in the pub later.

I met up with mam at lunchtime, and headed to the Hoswick Visitor Centre for a cuppa.  We went for a brisk walk about the hamlet too.  Hoswick is a lovely township, with a great fishing and whaling past.  This is looking over the old rooftops and lum cans.
