Faded, shaded but never jaded.

A providers workshop at the National Mountain Centre today. I think it's fair to say the classroom wasn't anybodies natural or preferred environment.

Each time I'm here, which is probably 5-10 days a year for the last decade or so I'm amazed to find myself alone on the deck staring at this view. For a building full of people who love mountains I'm surprised anyone gets anything done when this is the view from most of the common rooms.

The workshops were well balanced and it was a productive day, but I'm a little envious they'll all head out for day two to play in the mountains and put those classroom skills to use.
