Honeysuckle

Out at the the City Of Bears today to play with the QSM's fancy-schmancy Smart TV. We got it set up reasonably quickly and then we tried to get it to do the thing it was specifically bought for (and what the QSM had specifically asked the nice man at Saturn if it could do). It didn't work.

So. Armed with the internet and enquiring minds we discovered: a.) a lot of tech forums are rubbish and b.) nothing is ever, ever straightforward. Apparently we hould have asked the nice man at Saturn "will this do such-and-such when paired with a 10 year old satellite receiver?" The answer to that question is "no".

One of the big surprises of the day was when we tried to use the Search function in the telly. It very helpfully offered us the top 3 common searches in Germany - make of these what you will :-
1. Erotikfilme
2. The Smurfs
3. You Tube

I don't know about you but it would be a cold day in hell if I was looking for Smurf porn on YouTube.
