It's been a beautiful weekend - not that I've been out in it much. But I did take a wee detour on the way to the shop this morning.

I live not far from Eggborough power station, and today the smoke/steam looked incongruously pretty against the blue sky. I tried a shot from the dual carriageway but it was rubbish, so I went in search of better and found my way to a wildlife sanctuary I didn't know existed :-) I didn't go in - unfortunately I was in the kind of pain a man will never have to worry about - but now I know it's there I'll be back.

To try to ease said discomfort, this is how I spent my afternoon...
