Where Is Our Picnic?

On the way out to the oak meadows, not far at all from where we live, there is this designated picnic spot, complete with a fire pit and wood free to use for anyone to have a barbecue. Lots of people do, including preschools and other groups for kids. My question is: why don't WE bring stuff to barbecue, or at least a picnic?? We walk by here all the time. Plus, some of our best picnics have been winter picnics. Mum? What are you waiting for?
