Mrs Blackbird
The winds had fallen away this morning, and been calm all day. It's been a sunny day for the most of it, with the odd shower and wintery. A cold day, and feels like it's near freezing tonight.
I was up early this morning, and got two loads of washing out. Managed a good walk with Sammy after breakfast. The rest of the morning was household chores to be done. After lunch, brother Jonny and niece Lena came over, and another walk. IBook niece Elise to get her dress fitted for the Jarl Squad. Been to work in the pub for a few hours, finished early and now cosy at home with the fire roaring.
Every morning as I leave the house, this lovely blackbird is always hopping around the garden. She's a fairly tame girl, but not tame enough to clap her. Today she was busy feeding on those pesky berries, think it may be salmon berry. A garden wouldn't be the same without a blackbird. Taken st home, Houl Road, Scalloway.
