Sunset in a pen holder

Sunday's sunset was fabulous, but I was too busy loading up after the day's sale at a village hall. For me it was a successful day, and it was good to have Steve there, too. We sold a few of his cards but, sadly, none of his prints.

Most of the village is owned by the local landowner in the big house, Misarden house, whose garden are open on s regular basis. It has a plant nursery, a school, a shop and post office, and the properties are rented out to local people instead of London weekenders! As a consequence, the school is thriving and there's a higher than average number of young couples with babies and toddlers. The village is alive. The post office and shop are even open on Sundays!

This is a cheaty blip taken on Monday. The pen holder is a vintage Parker pen globe designed to hold a fountain pen. Steve found it among his Dad's stuff recently. I took it to put on my stall one weekend to hold up a sign (on the pen part) but my first customer wanted to buy it! I.put it away again because I had no idea of its market value.
