Loch Long

We left Stonefield Castle in heavy rain this morning, having been told about the snow further afield and accidents at the Rest And Be Thankful, so I took it very warily on the drive homeward.

We stopped at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar to buy some gin-infused smoked salmon, then again at Arrochar on Loch Long (where I bagged this blip) for lunch at the Village Inn and a long walk.

Fortunately the main roads were clear of snow....until we got close to home. My wee street is like an ice-rink! D#1 and I had a fabulous short break, but it's always lovely to get home.
