Roast potatoes ...

...bring a family together. It’s true. Meat eaters, vegans and everything in between can rally around a crispy spud.

We haven’t done a family meal for a while but with Christmas coming up hopefully we’ll have a few more. On which note we had some fab news today, a real early Christmas present.

Got some Polish currency - nothing like a fistful of zlotys to make you feel excited about a few days away. Had coffee in Bills and was chuffed to see that they have some vegan options now, plus we had some very pleasant conversation with the Aussie waitress. Bought some long sleeved t shirts ready for the weather in Kraków (it’s snowing and temps around zero).

Went skip raiding as the sun went down. Got some seriously nice timber.

Been a great weekend. Restful but not boring.
