festive play

Next to the cafe where I work is a small play park. There are plans to develop it into a more inclusive space - you can read about it here.

I knew that a  special play day was taking place at the weekend, but  I was surprised when I arrived at work to find that the park was festooned with baubles and tinsel - it looked very festive!

We had a busy day in the cafe today - a party of 29 had booked for lunch and they were joined by the usual crowd of customers. There was a happy buzz about the place :-)
