Tiny .....
.......... Tuesday132 (TT132) ..... with the subject "Seasonal" set by my lovely friend, Deb (dbifulco).
Now I am struggling to find anything "tiny" or "seasonal" in my shot ...... this plane would look tiny if seen from the ground, there are tiny splashes of red on the wings .......... you can see I'm stretching here.
As for seasonal - it was seasonably cold where I was today (for WBBN try the extras??).
Extra #1 ........ our British flagship airline that has very little to recommend it these days (sorry BA) - drinks and food for purchase only (unless you fly business class for extortionate fares - I could fly to the US for less than I paid for my European economy ticket today) but the golden glow that lit up the wing on my side also lit up the cabin and looked very festively (seasonably) golden ........ I suppose you could say the seats are tiny and the plane was unseasonably empty!!
Extra #2 ......... during part of my trip - very seasonal and I look quite tiny (and blurred).
Extra #3 ........ SEASONAL but not tiny ......... you can't have everything.
My three day "mission" consisted of:
Monday: drive 350 miles (do "missioning") and head to hotel #1.
Tuesday: up well before any self-respecting lark, drive to airport #1 and catch flight #1
- arrive at airport #2, wait around for a couple of hours and get on flight #2
- arrive at airport #3 (do "missioning")
- catch flight #3 and return to airport #2, hang around an hour or so
- catch flight #4 back to airport #1.
Collect my car, drive 130 miles and arrive at hotel #2 at 23.30hrs.
Wednesday: up before those pesky larks again, drive 200 miles and arrive home at 07.30 just in time to kiss Himself goodbye as he headed out the door!!!
680 miles driven;
5 airports (not all different);
4 flights;
3 different aircraft rows (row duplicated on 2 flights);
2 breakfasts;
1 afternoon tea
........ and no partridge in a pear tree.
:o)
Whisper was VERY happy to see me .................
Phew.
