Wanna play??

Apologies for a boring picture - but this is a very SPECIAL version of the game - and it's travelled half way round the world and 11 years to be with you this evening!

We took No 1 and No 2 to visit my sister and her family in Oz 11 years ago at Christmas. This present was left for the Aussie children by Santa as it was a popular game with them (this is a fancy electronic version). The game was a massive hit when we were there.

11 years later we returned to Oz (at Easter) with No 1, No 2 and No 3 (who wasn't even invented 11 years ago!) and we found a box of things we had left behind from our last trip. Clothes photos and this little game. It was still a hit with the families despite the big cousins being in their 20's now (they are VERY competitive!).

We returned home and 6 weeks later my brother in law arrived for a holiday in Scotland - the first thing he unpacked was this.

It was quite an emotional reunion and we still enjoy a good game!

All together now.......UNO !

Off to dig out the Monopoly and my personal favourite game - Ratrace !!!
