Sweetly sang the choir

The City of Salford Carol Service at the RC Cathedral.

The GM Police Band, brass players from the BBC Philharmonic, three schools (two primary, one secondary), and the Salford City staff choir. We sang four carols - Past 3 o’clock, Mary’s Child, Lullay my Liking, and Torches. Various of us had solo parts, including me. It all seemed to go down very well, I think we did all right.

Meet Cllr Peter Connor, Salford’s ceremonial mayor, and his consort. He is having a busy year, I hope he enjoyed the Carol Service.
