Christmas party

I left the house early this morning as I wanted to park the car in the car park so that I could have a quick getaway after our Christmas party in order to get to Penny's parent consultation evening (which is never in the evening).  I managed to get the last car park space. The Christmas party was at 1pm and the food didn't arrive until 2,30pm so I had to eat it very quickly and then head off to pick up Penny to take her to the parent's evening. I saw her Physics, Maths and Geography teachers. 
We then drove back home and I set off to the station to catch a train to Waterloo (I'd reserved some items at the M&S store in Marble Arch). There were delays again tonight and it took an hour to get to Waterloo. There were still delays when I came home but I managed to catch a fast train to Twickenham so I was back home by 10pm.
