Look back in.......irritation
Early out, hoping for a sunrise, I was walking down a green lane just a mile or so from home: It's funny, you just get a sixth sense something is watching you.
I turned my head slightly and was immediately confronted by these large antlers. There were three stags in a small thicket about 15 metres away. This was the eldest, if you go by the number of prongs. They didn't seem inclined to move, so I was able to change lenses and ramp up the ISO to get a half decent speed. Even then I was shooting at less than 1/100th of a second. Again I'm glad I had the Olympus 300mm with me and it's combined ability with the camera to stabilise the image. From what I've read they should be shedding these antlers soon, it'd make a great trophy if I could find one.
There were also three younger stags around as well, so I've added an extra.
