Big New Truck

During milking this morning this big new truck arrived with our load of PKE. The truck backed into the shed to unload the PKE, and I was surprised at how high its hoist went. In the picture is Farmerboy, and my youngest son T - both of whom were supervising!

The driver of the truck was telling Farmerboy that his truck had only done 18,000km, and overnight, while parked in Reefton (about an hour from here), this lovely new truck, and three others, were vandalised. Graffiti had been written on the passenger's door. It had been reported to the Police, so hopefully they will locate the 'lowlife' that obviously have nothing better to do with their time.

You can see on the ground all the mud that has generated from the rain that we have had. Today has been fine, but tomorrow is meant to be very wet again.

I have been busy mowing the lawn this afternoon. Usually I do this with our ride on lawnmower, however it is in Nelson getting fixed, so I have had to resort to the push mower. I've only got a third of it mowed, and have had to stopped to get ready to milk.
