Glad it's the weekend

Neil has now succumbed to the bug! I think my dad has it too, I've never known him have a tummy bug so it must be a bad one. Hopefully we're all feeling better soon - I've lost 9lb this week and have had to cancel meeting up with my uni friends tomorrow - I'm just so drained.

Henry slept well and was in a great mood for his nursery session. They had been doing messy play with flour and the whole room was covered! He got stuck in with jigsaws and Lego although didn't want me going too far away. He stood by himself for the first time today, he was banging 2 jigsaw pieces together and didn't realise he'd stopped leaning against me, then it took him about 10 seconds to realise!

He's got 2 new teeth today too - top canines. He looks funny having 6 teeth at the top and only 2 at the bottom!

My review went ok, my trainer agrees it would be a good idea for me to go part time from April, and was generally supportive and lovely. I'd only be dropping to 80% but it would mean a day off a week which I desperately need.

Today's blip is Henry finishing off the banana that I was about to get rid if because he was just squishing it - turns out he'd rather eat it out of the peel like a grown up than cut into slices.
