Almost Upon Us

Christmas Lunch arrives via M&S so Clare, Mark and I were waiting to collect at our allocated time this morning.
Once safely bagged and ready we fully intended to make our way home, instead a very convivial couple of hours passed in one of Falmouth’s newest pubs, the Pennycomequick.
Three or four beers in good company, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and people’s good spirits.
Home and time to prepare for the evening soirée, up to a dozen guests expected during our ‘open house’ evening. Open house only in the sense that those invited could come and go between 6 and 10.
It was a really good evening, enjoyed by all, I guess I over estimated on the beer front!!
Clare took herself off to the Midnight Carol Service whilst I cleaned everything away ready for tomorrow.
Stockings hung, NORAD Tracks Santa running on the computer, so we are all set for tomorrow.
