It wasn't hard to get up at 4am to head down to the beach.......it's been too hot to sleep properly anyway.....well muggy and humid more like it...a bit like walking through toffee.

Since the boy was born this has been our ritual every NYE....getting drunk and silly took a back seat...it has been all about him...of course. So we head down to the beach for sunrise and welcome in the New Year that way....I do like it.

The clouds were extra special and the sky was just super gorgeous (extras). We waited for the sky to even out into its daytime colours and decided to trundle back home and back to bed. I slept like a log .....the temperature was just perfect....until this afternoon.
