Barn Quilt #1

I decided that with the lack of color around here (unless you like the white of snow), that I needed to create my own color.

So...stealing another idea from Pinterest...I attempted my first barn quilt. It is made out of pine boards, and the square measures two feet by two feet. It is somebody's pattern of a sunflower.

Now...if I just had a barn to put it on.

I also needed the color fix to drown out my sorrows after watching my Michigan football team go down in defeat in the Outback Bowl. And...to top off the game...I lost a dollar to my little buddy in South Carolina.
