Full of Glee...is Humphrey

Humphrey the squirrel spied me spying on him in the upstairs window. Humphrey spoke.

"Our group didn't have a party,
so we didn't send out much cheer.
But I still would like to wish you...
a fun and happy new year."

"I love the ear of corn,
but how 'bout some pecan praline?
I deserve a special treat,
as we enter two thousand nineteen."

"Thanks for putting out the stuff,
so I can come and dine.
And would you care to join me...
in verse two of Auld Lang Syne?"

Evidently, Humphrey wanted the first verse all to himself. I gave him the "You go" on his squirrel solo.
