Friday: Sayulita
We had all heard from various people that Sayulita, an hour north of Puerto Vallarta, was worth visiting. So we pre -booked a cab(the brother of the guy who drove us in from the airport) and took a trip out there.
It's very nice and different to Puerto Vallarta. It's much more hippy and less developed. The beach, by comparison, though, is heaving, but has much more of a local flavour to it. We spent a good few hours walking round, exploring, and then spent the afternoon on the beach, under an umbrella we hired. We swam, chatted, played ball and ate tortilla chips and guacamole.
After a full day, we drove back to Puerto Vallarta. I was in the mood for fajitas again, and I'm pleased to say everyone else was of a like mind.
K. and I are both sleeping very well here too which is a great feeling.
