Truro Cathedral

I have to say, first impressions of Truro (we saw nothing of it when we visited last year due to the journey from hell) were very good, it looked lovely with some truly impressive buildings. Last night I foumd a great collection of eateries, bars and some really ancient pubs.
Whilst the cathedral is striking from afar, once you are on foot the tall surroundings and quaintly narrow streets meant finding a vantage point was actually quite difficult. I liked this view of it though. The extra shows some of the rest.
It was built between 1890 and 1920 and the architect stated he wanted to design a building that brought people to their knees. I can't say it had that effect on my heathen self, but it certainly packs a lot of wow.

Thank you all for so many kind and encouraging comments these last few days, very appreciated. I went looking for a Philosophy Friday I thought you'd like this week:

Philosophy Friday
Life is like a camera;
Focus on what's important.
Capture the good times.
Develop from the negative.
And if things don't work out - take another shot.
