Meantime

Last Christmas - i.e. 2016, not 2017 - Milly gave me these slate coasters with my company's name on them. She put them in a lovely little box, which gave no indication as to what was inside, and, consequently, the box was lost amongst all the other bits of clutter around the house.

Last week, the Minx, in her ongoing Canute-worthy efforts to expose the furniture and fittings of the house, opened the box - much to Milly's dismay - and today the coasters finally found their way into the office. After some stability tests by Steve, they were finally put to the job they were intended to do.
