The adjacent table

Tsuken, with wife and children, arrived this afternoon from the Blue Mountains. Great to have them with us for the next two weeks. The whole family went to dinner this evening at an excellent Italian restaurant on Ponsonby Road. Farina. S and I had chanced upon it after her graduation in July. While waiting to place our orders, I took a photo of my family in the same place at the same time, a rare occurrence these busy days. That is the extra for today.

Later, staff were clearing the end of the adjacent long table (enough space for ten to twelve diners) after a small group had left. My attention was drawn to the table top, and I had my blip for today.
