Too much

It snowed all night and all today - the wet slushy stuff so it will be rain lower down. The vehicle on the right of the picture is a bit stuck., you can just see the cab window below all the snow. The people are walking along the ploughed road.

We met our friends for a drink yesterday. Sadly the Grand Marnier bar is no more. The people lost the franchise so it is a normal bar/creperie. It was fun to catch up with R who had been on a very tough trek in Bhutan, and C who had done the Annapurna Sanctuary one that we’ve done. They are a bit alarmed about our hoped-for Pakistan adventure! Unfortunately R was going down with a bug so they are staying in today.

Mr C and I had a walk out, but it was very unappealing and slippy to walk in. I don’t know how the few skiers who were out could see anything.

Maybe tomorrow will be better? I’m enjoying my book but still, it’s an expensive place to be and not ski.
