The cold damp conditions...

... persist, with snow / sleet falling on the deserted Knaresborough Market Place this morning. The statue of  Old Mother Shipton, unveiled last October, was getting very wet in the foreground.

Behind her is Blind Jack's bar, named after the other famous resident of the town Blind Jack of Knaresborough.
