More random items from around the house.

The Boss is a bugger for collecting things off beaches....these shells are from the coast around Glencoe...she collected them back in August....we didn't find them until I was emptying out the car on Sunday....in a storage well in the foot space in front of the rear seats!

Now they are in an expensive....and very nice glass bowl...we also bought on Holiday!

We were once on holiday in Oban....we took a tiny ferry out to a small uninhabited island for a walk. We could hear a strange noise as we wandered along....suddenly we came out in a tiny cove....with a beach made of gorgeous smooth round rocks being washed backwards and forwards by the tide. The Boss insisted we had our picnic there.......and then when we had finished and the rucksack was empty....insisted we pinch some of the rocks......turned out to be about 30lbs in total!!!!!!....I had to lug them on my back for another three hours!!....and then back on the ferry...and then a walk to the car. We brought them home, several hundred miles...and they now make a little beach at one end of our pond....so small animals can get to the water for a drink without danger of falling in!

There are rocks. pieces of slate, driftwood, shells, pine cones and all manner of other things all over the house.....I suppose I'll never be short of an emergency blip!
