Today has been a weird one weather wise. Set off for work this morning in an absolute downpour.....by 9.30 there was bright sunshine. Cold and windy at 11.00.
Sunny all afternoon. As I was heading home at 2.50....early finish today....there was a long continuous roll of thunder for about 5 minutes....and the a hail storm of savage intensity....for about 2 minutes....and then the Sun came out. Now it's persisting down again!

Watched the England game this afternoon...postponed yesterday due to torrential rain in Warsaw....and an open stadium roof.....today bright Sun....and a closed stadium roof....go figure. We were dire....got a 1-1 draw....but if truth be told we didn't deserve it.

I'm getting tireder as the week progresses....slowly....towards half term....so another early night methinks.

The cards? They are hockey umpires cards...green triangle-warning, yellow square-sent off for minimum of 5 minutes, red disc-sent off for rest of match.

Yes I'm a qualified hockey umpire....or for my American friends....Field hockey.
