A Bit Gloomy

I was about to go out to the garage and finish the cat house when I got a phone call from SWMBO's younger sister's house............ could SWMBO and her other sisters come round sooner than had been arranged - moral support was required.

We headed off straight away.
MIL (who has been staying with youngest daughter since Friday) has taken a turn for the worse.
The doctor had been out and brother-in-law was away to get prescriptions for morphine and other drugs.
MIL has admitted that she is nearing the end and that she cannot go home and look after herself.By the time we left late afternoon see had seen all her daughters and step son and had Facetimed with her son (he will be looking into flights back from the USA whilst the American Government is shut (God bless you Tango Man!) and had been put on a morphine pump by the health visitors.

Tomorrow we hope to find out more about the options for palliative care etc.
