Why did I come in here?

Friends have returned from Colorado bearing gifts from foreign shores. This is from somewhere around New Mexico/Texas. The arrow head has been manufactured in exactly the same way as the original would have been made thousands of years ago. Flint Knapping Tied to a length of wood, adorned with feathers it would have made a formidable weapon against a deer. Especially if the user was to invest in a bow as well.

I have no idea what minerals are in the stone, I was simply taken by the green which in certain lights looks like Jade.

Was this the first case of overt racism. The Lone Ranger and Tonto were surrounded by Commanche. The Lone Ranger turned to Tonto, as arrows struck the defences around them from all sides.
"Looks like we're surrounded Tonto."
"What do you mean 'we' paleface?"

In other news. I watched a magpie doing it's very best to cope with the strong winds today. It appears to have been born and reached adulthood without any tail feathers, which places it at a disadvantage in aeronautical terms but also with magpie hierarchical society. The longer the tail, the higher the bird up the literal pecking order.

Here's how to fit the arrow head to the arrow. Arrow
